WHAT YOU'll NEED

    g of PREGO® Spaghetti OR Prego High-Fibre Spaghetti, cooked & drained

  • 1

    can / 350g jar / ½ jar 680g of PREGO® Traditional pasta sauce

  • 200

    g spaghetti (cook according to instructions on packet)

  • 3

    tbsp olive oil

  • 250

    g minced beef or chicken

  • 1/4

    carrot, diced

  • 5

    button mushrooms, quartered - optional

HOW TO MAKE IT

    Heat olive oil until hot in a pan. Stir fry minced beef or chicken until nicely browned. Next, add onion, carrot & mushrooms, and stir until fragrant.

    Pour PREGO® Traditional pasta sauce – stir and simmer for 5 minutes (A little water, salt and black pepper can be added to preference)

    Serve Bolognese sauce over cooked spaghetti and enjoy!

Make-Ahead: You may also cook this recipe on LOW for 7 to 8 minutes. Recipe Note: Reserve some of the cooking water from the spaghetti. You can use it to adjust the consistency of the finished sauce, if you like.
