Creamy Baked Chicken on Buttered Spaghetti

WHAT YOU'll NEED

  • 1 can (290g)

    Prego Cheese and Herbs Pasta Sauce

  • 130g

    Prego Spaghetti OR Prego High-Fibre Spaghetti Dry Pasta, cook as per instructions on the packet

  • 250g

    Chicken chop

  • 2 pips

    Garlic, minced

  • ¼ tsp

    Salt

  • ¼ tsp

    Black pepper

  • ¼ tsp

    Mixed herbs

  • 3 tbsp

    Butter, melted

  • For garnishing

    A handful of sweet basil

HOW TO MAKE IT

    Flatten chicken chop with a meat mallet to ½” thickness. Marinade chicken with Prego Cheese and Herbs Pasta Sauce, salt, pepper and mixed herbs for 40-60 minutes.

    In a baking dish toss Prego Spaghetti with butter and minced garlic. Place marinated chicken on top of the spaghetti. Cover by aluminum foil.

    Bake in pre-heated oven at 180˚C for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake further for 5 minutes. Garnish and serve immediately.
